non resident tuition is sky high and they denied my request for residency so now i'm a bum. well a bum with a job. hopefully 2 jobs soon.

back from new york! it was funfunfun and i want to go backkkk NOW. ;D

stayed at the bronx with relatives. and wowwie ny is straight hood baby.
i got my eyelashes permed and my nails did.
went to WOODBURY outlets and lost my head. went officially crazy in the burberry outlet.
went to the wedding. it was okay. pretty cool.
went to ground zero. times square.
lots of chinatown.
colombus circle or whatever.
played with theeee cutest baby ever!!!
went on a 3 hour cruise around.
went to century 21!
went to nj to shop too.
spent about 500 too much.
lots of things to see and people to visit.
spent quality time with family- especially my auntie from texas who i've decided is awesome.
also bonded with my very republican gramma. i had to translate the republican national conventionfor her. im not even sure how i did it. i think istarted making things up. then i had to translate letterman too. ai ya.
i did spend too much time with my canadian uncle tho. his mouth wont stay shut. ithink he just likes to hear himself talk. soo annoying. maybe thats just canada for you.
and whats a vietnamese family without a lil cardplaying- thirteen to be specific. we're so ghetto. but its good that way.

now its back to seattle and its just okay. happy bday to bac dung today and amy tomorrow.

after uw, ive decided its a big goodbye to seattle. but where next? back to cali? maybe. probably
east coast? idono... i guess it depends on the whole job thing.

my apartment drama is over and i've relocated to my aunties in bellevue!

ohh seattle
some of the family went to lake sammamish today to jet ski and picnic but of course the rain came pouring and while everyone normal ran home we ran into the lake.
well i ran into the lake. then ran out. then edged in carefully. hah. yeah im a chicken. but come tomorrow and im sure we'll all have the sniffles. but it was worth it. fun fun fun
i like jet skis. especially with vi. my partner in crime. maybe even more than the atvs in cabo. mmmm. with our sexy bandana masks.

ive decided when i grow up and settle down ill live on a lake so i can jet ski to vivians who will hopefully be living just across the lake.

i might go sky diving sometime soon with michael. i dono if ill be able to bring myself to do it...we'll see.

but i'm going to new york next thursday. im excited. hopefully some hardcore shopping will take place.

i saw 'the village' last night w/ my auntie and my 2 cousins. it was eh...mediocre. the concept of the movie was really good but i dont think they did a good job elaborating on it. the beginning was slow and long and the end was unsatisfying and quick.
i bet the book kicks the movies ass but what else is new. i'm gonna read it.
i read a child called it. i dont know why but i saw it at the airport so i picked it up. its really depressing and worries me that things like that really are going on and theres nothing i can do for them.
but on a brighter note, bbq at my aunties tonight w/ steak, ribs, and chicken? mMm.. then afterwards maybe 'harold n kumar.'

actually being in california makes me realize how much i miss it :/
kinda sad but true.
no doubt i've been homesick in seattle, but i've been able to control it and not let it get out of hand. now that i'm here, its kind of hard to go back.
when the plane landed and the stewardess said "welcome to orange county" i just broke out into a huge smile. although its only been my home for the last 5-6 years. it feels like ive been here much longer. i dono if thats a good thing or a bad thing but its comfortable and familiar and i like it.
my mom picked me up from the airport and we went straight to brodard cuz the spring rolls there are just bomb. then we saw "a cinderella story" which i lovedd. im a sucker for those stupid girly movies.
other than that, it's been mostly spending time w/ my homies that i've missed deeearly...
especially thu uyen- my oppa and best friend. hahhahahahha. its good to kknow that the great distance and time we've spent apart has done absolutely nothing to our friendship but strengthen it. aww yeah. mushy mushy.
we also went to tj. that was interesting. i woke up with dirrrty feet which is understandable because i wore flip flops. what i dont understand is why there was so much dirt under my fingernails....yeah idono.
anyway. so my plane is set to leave TOMORROW which is sad sad sad but i talked to my mom and shes encouraging me to stay-even offering to pay for a reasonably priced ticket! which i am sooo grateful for. 6 days is so not enough. its a tease thats what it is. so wish me luck that i can find a cheap ticket ~~home.~~ back to seattle.

i'm out of the dorms!
but after much complication im not at issaquah. i'll be stayin the next couple of weeks at my grammas in the renton/fairwood area i guess..
but i did find an apartment to sublease for teh summer, july and august to be exact. only 300 dollars! yayyyyy. 50th and brooklyn in youre in the area. come and holler cuz im dope and hopefully my apartment will be too. still gotta check it out tho..

my summers been uneventful so far except for the urban outfitters interview to which im still awaiting my call!! ahh so nervous. last night i went to my cousin haley's ballet recital- their production of cinderella. it was really cute. but haley's class was the best. preschool ballet what what!
then the kids spent the night so i had to babysit all day while the grandparents are out at a church thing.

but the evil stepmother and the pumpkin tt just picked up ethan and haley so i have teh house to myself.
HAH. and i bet no one got that except vivian and michael.
which btw leads me into another thing:

congrats viv and mikey! graduatin 8th grade and hs, respectively. im proud of you guys. i love you i love you! and we're gonna hang out this summer for sure.

last week when me and maia went to shoppin downtown, we were approached by some people to be hair models and we were like what the hey..why not! which was, let me say, THE WORST IDEA EVER. after much thought and consideration (but obviously not enough), we decided to become hair models for the hair care brand "RUSK." saturday we went in to get our hair colored and i walked out with a head full of orangey grossness. it was just unpleasant especially because i had the lambda installs to go to that night. needless to say, i was very upset but i managed to put my hair up to somewhat cover the ugliness.
then sunday was the day of the hair show- the international salon expo at the washington state convention and trade center. that was actually kind of fun even if the results were bad. we got all dressed up in rusk gear and 3 of us at a time got our hair cut on stage in front of a mess of ppl for some class rusk was teaching. that was pretty nerve wracking not jsut to be in front of so many people, but there werent any mirrors so i coudlnt see what was going on. at the end of the class the models just stood there and a whole bunch of ppl came up to touch my hair and take pix of it which was a little odd but i thought it meant that it had turned out nice or something but omggg when i saw my hair ifreaked like no other. it was a nice cut i guess, but not for me. too.....futuristic maybe?
anyway. now my hairs back to black again and just way too short cuz i cut off those stupid tail thingies. why oh whyyyy did i do this before my pageant. omggggg
i called gene juarez earlier to see how much hair extensions would cost...it would be 1500-2500 so uh...no on that!
